I was born on the 15th of April 1990, so that makes me 20 this year, and an Aries too. Probably because of my mixed origins, my nationality and family background often draw attention to people whom I interact with – My dad is a Malaysian while my mother is of Taiwanese descent. To make things a little more complicated, I was born and raised up in Singapore. However,  contrary to popular belief, that does not make me a Singporean. Like my dad, I possess a Malaysian passport. Having said that, I am currently studying in Singapore on a student pass.

With the nationality issue now clear, let’s talk about my family. I currently live in a family of four – Myself, my mother and my two sisters. In my eyes, my mother is the perfect woman. Because, in a nutshell, she is attractive, tall, slim, feminine, capable, family-orientated and is able to cook, sing and play music. You can’t find girls like that anywhere nowadays. I have 2 exact-opposite sisters, both of whom are older than me. Thus, that makes me the youngest in the family. About my dad, let’s just say he was a really busy businessman while he was alive and he will be greatly missed.

In short, I am someone who seeks perfection and I believe that nothing is impossible as long as you are not being overly ambitious and set your mind towards it. Having said that, I am a very serious and down to earth person, especially in the things I partake in my life. I simply cannot tolerate remorse in life because to me, life is like a piece of paper. We all start off as a clean sheet of paper. You make a mistake and there goes a stain on your paper. No matter how hard you are going to try and erase it, it will never ever be clean as before. As a result, I tend not to take things lightly because I believe that in this game of life, you only get one life and no continues. Make the wrong move, and it’s checkmate for you.

My main interests in life so far are computers, film-making, music, gymming, games and girls. After today, there will be a new interest and you guessed it – Blogging.

Since young, I have always been fascinated with computers and the things one can do with it. You can consider this to be one of my greatest interest in life. To me, a computer (with interent) is one-stop portal for all a guy’s needs. Nuff’ said. Currently, I have three computers, 2 desktops and a MacBook Pro. The one that I spend the time with is called Jeanice (Yes, I do name my belongings) and I adore her. This is how she looks like: 

Oh in case you’re wondering, the gorgeous lady popping out in my desktop is Holly Valance and I adore her so much. That, my readers, is a perfect example of my dream girl.

Music is another thing that I can’t live my life without. I enjoy listening to music and one of my hobbies is to update my music library. The music I tend to listen are pretty much mainstream, the kind of songs that you hear on radio. But to be more specific, my favorite genre is probably Pop/Rock, music that are usually made up of vocals, piano, guitar, & drums. Under normal circumstances, I do not listen to Rap and R&B at all. You can find out the kind of music I listen just by activating the music player widget I installed on the site. It displays a list of updated songs that I listen to religiously nowadays.

I currently play the drums and the piano. In the future, I plan to pick up the guitar. One of my dreams is to be able to play an entire piece of song by myself. Hopefully, that isn’t too far from now.

Since young, I have always envisioned myself in a film, be it an actor, director or writer. This dream and passion was always kept low as studies was always placed first. My dreams for filmmaking only came true when I was in my high school. That was when I was really motivated and encouraged to filmmaking. I must admit that it was one of the happiest momemts of my life, having to do something that I have always wanted to do. Since then, I realize that filmmaking is what I loved to do and I wanted to learn more about it. I thus decided to forsake studying at a Junior college in pursue of Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Film, Sound & Video course. I have since graduated from the course and I will be looking forward to doing some writing, directing and acting work in the future.

I did mention that I love playing games. Come on, which guy doesn’t? To me, besides sheer entertainment, games have a different value. I use it as a communication tool to help keep myself in the same frequency with guys. It’s a common topic that guys share and trust me, it makes conversations between guys so much easier. As of today, my favorite games are DotA, Grand Theft Auto series, Call of Duty series, Fallout 3 and formally World of Warcraft (I’ve grown tired of it ).

As for why I started this blog, I think the real reason is because I want to chronicle every single important moments that I have been through and the thoughts that cross my mind. I have been living for 20 years and I have always been wanting to go back in time to relive certain moments but we all know that it is impossible to do so. But with this blog now, that feat is no longer impossible to perform. With a click, I can restore back to any point in history and experience it again.  Adding on to this, I have always been someone who treasure his friends. With this blog, I hope my friends that I have not been able to keep in touch consistently will be able to know what’s going on in my life and at the same time, leave their footprints behind in this blog so that I know that they still care. The last and most ridicule reason is that, I enjoy the feeling of typing, especially on my Logitech G15 keyboard. Oh yeah!

In case you were wondering about the blog name and my nick, He. Here’s an explanation for it. My nick, He, as in the pronoun and which this blog is named after, is probably just like any other nickname that one has. It is not intended to offend or bring praise to myself. Some people may link it to Jesus Christ or God, but the truth is I am an atheist and I was never a religious person. When I came up with this nick, I was in my early teens and I hardly had any idea that He was used to refer to God or anything of that matter. I fancy it because it is short, simple yet elegant and memorable at the same time. It is usually bold if it refers to me.
